Many of you who follow me know that this is not my first time tackling the issue of rape culture in Liberia, in fact only two episodes ago I feature the topic. After a brief hiatus, I’m back and giving you an inside look into the reactions of Liberians on ground after the More Than Me story was published on October 11, 2018.

This episode will be presentedΒ  in a few parts as the story is unfolding by the day. There is so much information to share! The reactions have ranged from outrage and advocacy, to many Liberians looking in the mirror and culture blaming. Whatever the opinion it has brought the issue to the forefront, as I have said before in order to invoke change we must start from somewhere. Wherever your views lie it is important to get involved and join the conversation!

In this 11 minute episode I try to summarize the story and show the immediate action on the ground. I encourage EVERYONE to read the Time Magazine article and watch the ProPublica documentary (links below) to understand the details of the story.
