Philimena Takes Kenya!

This is not your typical Philimena episode, I usually have a production all laid out but this was not one of those times. You guys get to ride with me through my first visit to Kenya. When I made the decision to move back in 2017 I made a promise to myself that I would explore more of the continent, and Kenya didn’t disappoint! 

Once I landed we headed for Lake Naivasha about two hours outside of Nairobi and stayed at The Sopa Lodge. This was an amazing experience as the wildlife roams the lodge grounds freely. The only concerns are the menacing monkeys and hippos at night! Back in Nairobi is a vibrant city with people from all walks of life! I got to visit a Massai market, take a mini safari in the Nairobi National Park, and even dance with a Massai warrior! The beauty of Kenya will surely take your breath away!
